This is the blog of a family that knows how to stand out in a crowd. Our story starts out with a couple of love birds in 1994.

Notice the innocent expression, the "they have no idea what is in store" naive look in their eyes.

Two children came in 1999 and 2000 (yes 17 months apart) and wiped that innocent expression from our love birds faces.



The first one was born with a Chromosome disorder which includes everything you could possibly want in a child with special needs; wheelchair, developmental delay, multiple surgeries. The second became the first born child in personality and gave his parents a sense of normalcy in a family starting it's way to becoming obvious.

4 years later in 2004, this sweetie with beautiful eyes shows up. He was the dream baby who sang himself to sleep and was potty trained in 2 days. The mother in our story was thankful since she didn't know sometimes how she would manage with three children.



Well, three children was not what God planned for this family. He started having our heroine start counting four children when they were corralling the children after church. Needless to say, number four joined the obvious family in 2009 to seal the deal to become obvious.



She has somehow has wormed her way into our hearts. We've become obvious in plenty of ways. Sometimes, I wonder if people look at us and wonder themselves. This is the family God has chosen for us to show the world His kingdom. And maybe, just maybe, this blog will be the path that this family takes.
